Toughing Out the Winter with a Good Cigar
Nothing’s better than sitting inside by a blazing fire with a good cigar, staring out the window, and watching the snow fall.
Okay, there IS something better: sitting on the beach under an umbrella with a good cigar, basking in the warm ocean breeze, and watching the waves crash. But since winter is not done with us yet, many are making the best of it and enjoying their favorites with the heat cranked up to 75 degrees.
Or if you’re like Baltimore’s Greg Franks who, as Cigar Aficionado tells it, can’t smoke indoors, you go outside in your yard, sit down in a foot of snow, and enjoy your cigar.
Then again, maybe you’re like this Virginia Beach, Virginia resident who is happy for the piles of white stuff; he built a chubby-cheeked snowman and placed a cigar in it’s faux-mouth.
So what’s your favorite cigar to idle the time away during the brisk, snowy weeks of winter?
