Autumn Smokes
The weather is turning crisp and leaves are changing. Well, at least in our area it is. You, of course, may be blessed with more sunshine and longer-lingering warmer temperatures. But if you’re like most of our dedicated readers, you’re experiencing the season known as Autumn. What better way to usher in the new season than with an aptly named cigar?
This blog post’s spotlight: the Rocky Patel Autumn Collection. Each year the cigar manufacturer makes special blends dedicated to celebrating the four seasons. We haven’t tried this year’s yet, but 2009’s collection has made outstanding impressions in our memory.
To begin with, Rocky Patel’s Autumn collection features a blend of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua – all aged three years. Created especially for the fall season, this smoke has body and substance. Puff this stogie and you’ll experience hints of earthy leather, pepper, tobacco spice, and a woodsy taste that’s best described by one aficionado like “fallen leaves on the ground.” The medium-bodied smoke comes in four sizes, further customizing the experience: Churchill, Robusto, Salomon, and Toro.
We’re looking forward to enjoying an especially themed autumn smoke outside, in the crisp air, maybe taking in some good old-fashioned football games. Ah, fall and Rocky Patel.
